I am building a Gaui 550.
This is the first heli I have that will use a seperate UBEC instead of the one built into the ESC..
I have 3 Hitech HS5824 Servos for Cyclic and a Futaba BLS254 on Tail - (IE Four full size digital Servos)
Any recommendations for a UBEC?

I've used the Castle ones, they seem to hold up well. On my 600 I have the Fromeco Arizona that works great.

Good luck with your Hurricane 550 build. If it is the plastic framed version I would recommend adding the cnc anti-rotation bracket as the elevator arm has been known to break in some rare instances. Also, if you are using the stock plastic pitch and roll arms (bellcranks) make sure you add the same offset to the servo arms/wheels.
I have had so many Gaui's, and still do, that I even started my own Gaui website. They are pretty nice helicopters for the price. The Hurri 425 kit is a real bargain at $75 usd, and it can be stretched to run 500mm or 550mm blades for less than $20 usd.
