Default COLLECTIVE SERVO CENTERING PROBLEM

Hello Sir,

1. I am using FUTABA T7C 2.4 WITH 9252 servo on collective, the servo shows end points140 on one side and 110 on other side.

2. To get the correct geometric center my options are:-
(a) Give +30 subtrim in CH 6 and keep 110 / 110 on both the sides

(b) Do not give any sub trim but keep 110/110 on both sides

(c) Give (-)30 subtrim in CH 6 and keep 110 / 110 on both the sides , but
Will have to remove the servo arm and look for a different orientation…have not tried that.

3. Why the end points on collective are not 140/140.

4. If there is ant other solution do let me know.

Regards
Amit

Default RE: COLLECTIVE SERVO CENTERING PROBLEM

It helps to know what helo you are working on.
You should always start with the radio programed to zero subtrim and 100/100. Then with the transmitter at center stick with the pitch curve showing zero (transmitter totally at neutral/ zero point) put the arm on the servo at 90 degrees to the servo or rod if the servo is not levevl to the frame. If you have multiple arms on the servo wheel/ arm try different arms they usually are different enough one is just right. Do this with all your servos and then adjust end points to get your max and min pitch. They should be very close to each other doing this.
