450 HELI Clone
#2
Ive had good luck with EXI, but seems they no longer exist, at least not here in the states any longer. xheli used to sell them, but not anymore and I havent seen them anywhere else since.
All of that being said, KDS is a good one and from what I have read...probably even better than the EXI line of clones.
Ive bought CopterX and HK(hobby king) and they arent as good(my opinion).

I bought a Hausler 450 several months ago, seems pretty good so far, for an Align clone, I did have to replace the main gear, the one it came with had a bent coupler shaft, made the bottom gear wobble.
It has a belt drive rotor, brushless motor and came with a Flysky T-6 transmitter, which I will admit is not accepting programming any longer. I'm in the market for a DSX6i right now. I haven't flown it yet, I'm still in set up mode. I've spooled it up a few times just to see that the replacement RC also is not accepting the program changes so as soon as the rpm's come up the swash plate kicks hard right. It's all in the set up and RC programming.

I bought 4, HK 450 clones in the kit form.
I was just starting in heli and figured that at $20.00 each kit I had lots of spare parts. I sold one of the kits and still have 2 of the 450's flying.
You can use Align parts if you want to upgrade some of the head parts for better flying control.
Now I'm not sayiing that these would make good 3D flyers, but if you just learning the replacement parts are a lot less than Align parts...You will crash
