Heli Cam VIDEOS from my Raptor 30....
Yeahh...
Before I get flamed, yeah, I know I should fly at a field, and not my house. I'm a dumbass.
The battery in the camera ended up running out mid-flight, so, it's not as long as I would of wanted it. Expect more video though, since I found out it's possible. And the heli is remarkably stable and pretty much flies how it normally does... It just takes a little more time to slow down from a decent. Just gotta put the camera at the COG. The camera used is a Sony Digicam DSC-P31. Takes great video.
Let me know what you think of it, and any ideas for upcoming projects... I hate seeing a thread with 100 reads, and 1 reply!
If the link doesn't work, that means the server is overloaded.. A good way to tell if it's overloaded without attempting a DL, is if this picture is present :
Thanks!
That being said, enjoy!
Video One - 2mb MPEG (Battery ran out mid-flight, but scenary is better)
Video Two - 3.6mb MPEG (First attempt, scenary isn't so good because camera was facing down too much.)

It's just a matter of attaching it to the heli, I used electrical tape, and cable ties, and then setting it to video, hitting record, take off, fly around, land, hit the shutter button again.
Works well.

Yes, the camera is stationary.. The cost is the camera, (around $220) and that's all. I just used electric tape & cable ties.
Worked well.. And I bought a bigger memory card 64mb for longer videos.

Love the video, I have a Sony Cybershot DSC30, while it doesnt have video mode I can just mount a servo on the shutter to take pics. Now all I need is a 9 channel RX....Hmmmm, I need more money...
