Kalt Baron 20
I bought this Kalt Baron 20 some weeks ago. It costed me less than $100 and it is complete apart from the servos. I have only experience from my electric Hornet. Does anyone know its characteristics and handling qualities. The rotorblades (+ a pair of spares) are made from wood. Is it worth replacing these? The chopper is in very nice condition. (The canopy is not properly mounted in this photo.)

RE: Kalt Baron 20
I had one of these for a short time in 1987. I sold it to a friend who leanred to fly with it and eventually installed in an Agusta 109 fuselage.
It flew fine with the wood blades. for hovering and easy flying should be fine. You should consider that today's blades are much better in every way, but since parts are hard to come by for these birds nowadays, I would not do much more than hovering and some lazy flying around with it anyway. I figure for the price you got it you should get the best use out of it while you can.
good luck.
