Default T-REX 600N

When looking at the T-REX 600Ns what are the biggest advantages of the 600N and 600N PRO. other then belt to shaft drive on tail and plastic to fiberglass canopys .... is the G-10 3k fiber the same as CF frame.

thanks for helping i am looking for a nitro heli for a winter project for the long cold winters up here.

If you are a beginner you may want to stick with the basic model as you will have many "upgrade opportunities" in the future.

That heli flies great out of the box for sure and there are more 3rd party hop ups coming out every week.

I am not a begginer i have flown nitro 50s in the past GMP cobra with P gyro standard servos .. airplane Futaba FG 6 radio, want to buy some antques LOL. I also have and use for the past 25 years planes cars and boats. I am now trying to relearn choppers. starting with a trex 450se for around the house and in garage in winter and looking for a main heli for flight feild feel batterys are to much for a trex 600 so looking at a trex 600N just need to pick what model the standard or Pro.

The G-10 frames are not as stiff as the carbons. The sitckers dont like to stick to the canopy so fuel gets under them and starts to lift.

I dont think your gonna see a diffrents between the belt/tube. Its a last 5% kinda thing as far as I see it.

I have the 600N and its a pretty sick bird. Does everything I want smoothly and responsivley. Cant say enough about it. The autos are just sick !! Very much like my old Xcell 60 back in the day. The collective is very precice, and thats with junk servos. Cant wait to get real servos in there see how it does.

I picked up my 600N for $360+ship from Tech models. I like belt driven tail's soo the extra cash needed for the pro is not worth it to me. The Carbon frames would be nice but, the silver frames grew on me quick. Love the looks of it now. I plan on getting a custom painted canopy anyway so the standard kit saved me some cash there too.

Hope this helps.

i have asked around and decided on getting the T-Rex 600N Std

Its all the same except the frame - G-10 or CF ,, tail - belt or shaft .. canopy - plastic or Fiber glass . with the 600 Std i will order a FG canopy paint it as i am tuning the heli and upgrade to a CF Frame in 6 months or so.

after hearing how EZ the shaft drive gears strip digging the tail in ,belt is the way to go maybe and only maybe add a shaft drive if when i get to hard 3D and need the performance 5% . by then i would more then likely be getting the newest or the bigger heli LOL

HAPPY HOVERING

I have the sport and wish i had the pro. I really think the stiffer frames would help with some minor vibration i'm trying to deal with.

BUT, it does fly well.....
