Which Regulator??
I am tired of using NiMh’s on my Stratus, 4 flights and there done. I want to use a 2S2P 4200 lipo which weighs the same as my 2700 NiMh. I just can’t decide which regulator to use. I am looking for a 5.3 to 5.5 volt that will not fail. What are you guys using? And just as important, what should I not use. I am looking at using either a Fromeco, Duralite, MPI………

RE: Which Regulator??
Well, You have a vote for the duralite, and a vote for the MPI.
I have a Fromeco set up in my Raptor 90. I can fly today a few times, and then fly again next week a few times before I have to recharge. The Arizona regulator with it's failsafe switch is a great adition. The only thing to remember is to disconnect the batteries after you are done flying. The failsafe switch still allow current to be "used" thus slowly draining your batteries. The dual output leads of the Arizona on the selected voltage is a good feature as is also good the dual voltage feature for the gyro and tail servo.
