There is a big thread on this gyro over in Ezone in the Electric Heli forum.
Do you have a link?

if you go on ebay and find the gyro xmseller is selling, you can make an offer of $25 and it will be accepted. Shipping is $5 though.
I just made an offer for $23 and it was accepted (should have tried a little lower [&o]).

I tried this [link=http://www.r2hobbies.com/proddetail.php?prod=rcps61801]GY 400[/link] and I'm not impressed with it at the moment, it seems to hold better in normal mode then in heading hold, I don't know what's up with that (I guess you get what you pay for). I'm going to play
with it a little more and see if I can get the bugs out it, if not I will put it on my foamy airplane.

I am getting a bit confused here, don't take much these days though.
Is the Deal Extreme the same gyro as the XM Hobbies or is there some underlying differences that cannot be seen from the outside of the case?

3 heli traing gear i got friday oh ya great video mulikow.. can you put the gyro
on a nitro heli if you have one and test it out.. i dont see why it would not work on
a nitro heli if it works fine on a electric heli but someone was asking about
on other forum

Yes you can use it on a nitro helicopter. I am using this gyro with a HYPERION ATLAS DS 20 GMD standard fast digital servos. Works great on my nitro helicopter.

Dude, good luck with them. I did get a notice from them that they want me to send the gyro to some address in Florida with a tracking number. I am not sure at this point if it is worth the effort and added cost.

Hi Everyone. This is a good thread.

I have been using the G401B from Dealextreme for a couple of months. I have crashed 3 times due to rudder servo going full pitch. One of the reasons has to do with the servo reverse switch malfunctioning.

The gyro holds very good when set up but this intermittent issue is steering me away. I will be ordering another one but this time from cnchelicopter. My question is; which one (2 listed) is the best?

I have not done any thing since their request for me to send it to some address in FL with a tracking number. I think i will cut and run on this and stick with the Futaba GY401's. If you want the one i have we could work out a low cost deal.

I just got this Gryo, Installed it into my HB King - and I'm pairing it up with spektrum S75 servo.
I'm getting a serious tail wag as I increase the throttle.
My setting is as follows:
DS - OFF
DR - Rev
Limit - 100

I've adjusted the Delay anyhwere from 0 to 100 and still getting a serious tail wag.

Please help.

Thanks in advance,
Jojo

turn down the gain or move the servo horn point in one hole.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm using the stock TX.
Where do I turn down the gain?
The servo horn is facing up, do I move it one whole up or one whole down?
