Default T6exap For heli?

does anyone know if the T6exap will work for a heli? if so does anyone know how to set it up for a trex or have a link to someinformation that shows how? The manual only has information on planes.

The 6ex came (if i recall correctly) in an airplane and heli version. It's a low end computer radio that didn't include the software for the other.
To make things more confusing there was a couple of versions of that radio released, the 6ex 2.4 does have heli programming so you'd have to set the model type to heli in the parameter menu. If thats not available then you're not going to have much success and you wont be able to fly a CCPM heli at all.

I have a 6exA and there is no heli programming.  The "A" is for airplane.

This is the 72, not 2.4

You're out of luck.

Poison, as I said, there's a few different versions of that radio floating around, some are airplane or heli specific, some have both.

I am really confused, on the box it says For Airplane Model / For Helicopter Model

Also, the model is a "T6EXAP" which is not listed on that comparison chart you posted... Is this differant than the "T6EXA"???

Then this is the manual: [link=http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/6exp-manual.pdf]6EXP[/link]

Page 15 tells how to change it from acro (airplane) to heli. Pages 24-29 are the heli only stuff.
