Mixing Question
I would like to know what the mixing values are for throttle to pitch. All I want to do is hover, no 3D flying. I have the Hawk Pro 30. Thanks in advance for your help. Brad

RE: Mixing Question
Brad, this is a plane forum, not a heli one.
But to aid you (i have both), the exact ratio is something your going to have to get set for yourself, but for starters, my 50 is always zero pitch at midstick and has a liner curve to maximum positive and negative pitch levels. The only difference on pitch between 3d and normal modes on mine, is that I have -6 degrees at the bottom of my normal flight curve (so I can auto if there is a motor failure), and -10 for 3d. As for throttle % .... normal is 0, 23, 46(mid stick), 56 and 100%. 3D (idle up) is 100, 56, 46, 56, 100. Now, those are the settings for my 50 nitro, and it is a different brand to yours, but that might be a starting point (adjust the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th throttle curve points to get your machine just right re rotor speed) Hope that helps. |
RE: Mixing Question
This is for Raptors but theory is the same.
Other peoples numbers are meaningless unless you have the exact same equipment setup the exact same way. My advice, find help in person, there's plenty of folks in your area. http://www.raptortechnique.com |
