temperature checking?

I have a mini rayteck with pointer, where is the rigth part of the engine to check the temp?, whats the ideal temp for my engines( raptor 50 v2 whit tt50 and gph 346 o.s. 46), thanks for your help

temperature checking?

I check on the side of the cylinder, others check on the top of the head.

i don't know about hte tt50, but my TT39 seemed to be happy around 200 - 230.
my OS 50 doesn't get over 160.
