Beginner R30 Question

I am a beginner and I have a Shuttle Challenge that I can now hover without training gear, (no FF yet). I just bought an R30 kit (29BB) wich I started to put together. After researching I have found alot of building tips not included in the manual, such as CA'ing bearings, using Locktite on alot of things, reversing landing gear etc...I just ordered some up-grades including the BB upgrade kit. Does anyone suggest taking the heli completly apart and starting over? Should I use locktite on every thing such as the frame bolts? Any advice or "any" tips for a beginner that loves the hobby will be greatly appreciated.

Beginner R30 Question

I don't think you need to. You could if you felt more comfortable though. I don't know where you heard about CAing bearings, but I don't think that is necessary. My landing gear is the 'normal way' and I havn't had a problem. As for loctiting, you only use loctite on metal to metal. The frame screws go into plastic, so they don't need it. :rainfro: :drowning: :sunsmiley :boxing:
