Delrin Cyclic Ring for Tx??
Hello,
I've only been flying helis for a short time now and usually browse the ads when I'm on the net. The guy that taught me has one of these rings on his Tx but I never had a chance to ask about it. I saw one online for 12.00 so it is definitely cheap enough. I guess what it does is obvious but how many guys use 'em. The only explanation with the ring is that it "keeps the sticks out of the corners--usually where they are when we crash" I definitely bang the sticks all over when I get in a panic so I was thinking........... Any other thoughts?? Thanks, Dave |
RE: Delrin Cyclic Ring for Tx??
Their really for a guy doing aerobatics, a beginner won't see a benefit to using one unless you really stick bang.
Here is a link to one http://furyflyer.tripod.com/cyclicring.html |

RE: Delrin Cyclic Ring for Tx??
On the FF8s a futaba servo wheel (the large one) fits exactly, just drill a 22mm hole in it with a wood drill and voila a $0.00 ring (assuming you have the servo wheel already)

Thanks for that. I believe the 401Gyro w/servo comes with a large servo wheel.
I'll let you know. |
RE: Delrin Cyclic Ring for Tx??
WOW!!
That couldn't have fit any better. Like it was made at the factory....... I used the servo wheel as you said but only had a 24mm wood drill. Drilled it out and it actually pops into a land on my Futaba 9C. No glue needed. Wow. |
