Vibration

I am new to helicopters. Model planes i can do the book, but this gives me a real buzz like when i first started with planes.

My question then! I have a shuttle 30 heli. When i am hovering it seem trimmed out, but as soon as i put a bit more power on the vibrations start. Any ideas.

Are you using training gear? If so you are seeing a resonance at a certain head speed with the gear. Like Jason said try to play with the pitch/throttle curves. Some people trim the length of the gear off some and that will help also.

Thanks Guys

Think that is it. I will try it this afternoon. When i took it out for the first flight no problems, but i thought the engine was going to fast as i was on 3/4 throttle. I moved the servo arm a bit to get the heli up on 1/2 throttle and now i get this vibration.

I wish i could find someone with a heli near me. There are 6 Plane clubs but no helis. Think thats why i want to learn so bad. I teach in are club on planes, and trim out 80% of the new planes coming to the club. When it comes to helis I'm thick.

Thanks again.

Paul
