Hey,

what kind of paint can I use to paint my raptor 30 body. I tried Race Finish model car paint but that didn't stick to the plastic. What should I try?

Did you use a flex primer first? I use a flexible primer surfacer(SEM) before I paint.

No, I'm afraid I didn't, but a friend of mine used primer and he had the same problem. Isn't there something that can be used without applying primer first and will still stick. I'm not trying to do an immaculate job here I just want something decent that wont rub off. Any more suggestions?

Howdy. Believe it or not I have succesfully used Krylon spray paint! I roughed up the canopy pretty good first and hit it straight with yellow Krylon. It won't win any awards but it looks great. I do notice some minor color bleed from fuel on the canopy clip but it wipes away and has not at all come off enough to repaint. I can email you some pics of it if you want. I also did the tail fins the same color and they came out perfect. Goof luck

Hi, I have used a product called Bull Dog it is meant to help hold paint to plastic and ruber parts. It can be bought at an auto paint store.
