TT 36 Engine problem please help

I have a Raptor 30 w/TT 36 engine w/ stock muffler. Coolpower 15% nitro fuel.os a3 glow plug.
the needle is open 2,5 turns

here is the problem: when I'm running the engine sometimes it starts to loose power without any reason. sometimes at full trot. I don't have enough power to get the heli out of the ground. go back to idle wait a little and try again and everything comes back to normal.
Any idea what should be the solution
Thanks
Deiv.

The symptons your describing are of the motor being run too lean. You run the motor at half to full throttle and after a few minutes the motor heats up and starts to lose power because it is not getting lubrication. Then you land and let the motor idle, the motor starts cooling and then it is Ok till youi give it power again and start the process all over. I would think your about 1/4 to 1/2 turn too lean on the main needle. I have helped several using the TT 36 with many different kinds of fuel and this seem to be the case on most of them.

Hi,
That sounds like good advice to me. I was thinking the same.
