Engine Temp.
 

Hey all,

I am in the process of running in a TT39 on my shuttle. How hot should these things run? i noticed that its as hot as hell after a 15 min flight on a tank of fuel, compared to the OS 32 .i could barely hold my finger on the backplate for a second or two . I have the low speed at about 5 turns out and the main needle at 3 turns out.it barely idles with the glow off . i have it running super rich (well i think i do?) becuase i am running only 10 percent nitro. Too low a nitro percentage? I heard some guy saying these things run best on 20 percent and higher. it seems to run beautifully s ts a smooth as silk in hover and in FF, ample power , just seems too hot after a flight is all. any thoughts commenst suggestions?
