Landing inverted on the underside of things in AFP (pic)

1 Attachment(s)
I was messing around in Aerofly Pro, and got the idea to hover inverted, and land on the underside of surfaces that jut out from the aircraft carrier flying area. It was tricky, but fun. The worst part is the stupid chase camera though! I know its a bad pic.... but the chase camera is really bad by the carrier's overhangs.

Has anyone tried this with their real heli!?

I actually saw some pics on the web of a guy who landed a micro electric CP heli on his ceiling... don't remember what site had it though! You won't catch me screwing around like that with my Raptor 50... well, I don't think so... hmmm... :D

Pretty cool video! I actually saw a still photo of a guy that landed his micro electric on the ceiling of this house as well.

The fact that he could take is hands off the TX isn't too suprising, though... once he had it on the ceiling, he could just set the left stick at full negative pitch and throttle to keep it planted there... hard part is controlling that little thing and getting it up there! Did you notice he actually hit his main rotor on the floor at the beginning of that video, after he went inverted the first time! Rugged little bird, that Piccolo Pro!

Thought so - nice one... that's the vid.

Very funny seeing that again.

Notice how much altitude and momentum he needs to flip it over?

That's some mean piloting skills..... that heli was NEVER meant to do 3D :)

(only kidding.... for those who will flame me about the 3D performance of a Picollo Pro...) :)
