recievers??? all the same?
i need a new reciever for my other gasp! plane projects
i had to rob the planks to fly my heli but now i want to do both so... i was looking for a cheap 7-8 channel futaba compatible reciever and found two in the $50 dollar range, the hobbico command 7 ch dual conversion and the tower hobbys sys3000 7 ch i mean really, dont they all do the same thing? |

Yea, and a Yugo, Toyota and BMW will
get you from point A to B. How WELL they do it is another story. |

All receivers work do the same thing. How they do it and the quality of the components they do it with will vary.
Just about all receivers from major manufacturers will do an excellent job. Most of the cost differences can be traced to number of channels, size of receiver and paying for the name. Both the Hobbico and Tower receivers are made by Futaba and are identical to the 127DF model. This one has been the std receiver for many years and comes with lots of radio systems. Alternatively, the Hitec receivers are also a good choice in the same price range. If you want a PCM receiver, prices start at U$100 and go up from there. Maybe a good idea to put one of those in your flagship heli. Fritz |

Try this link. I am flying my Caliber 30 with this rx. It comes with crystal for this price! It is the same as the Futaba R127DF with different labels.
