You can try HStore in Sydney - go to their website www.hstore.com.au and have a look around.

They know a LOT about rc helicopters, and have a web-based ordering too.... so you don't need to drive all the way up here..!!

The stuff that you order from them usually arrives next day, or the day after, by express post.

If they don't have what you need (which is unlikely :) ) then www.helihobby.com is a good place to start if you want to get into buying parts from overseas. They sometimes have specialist upgrade parts etc. that are too expensive for a retailer in Australia to bring into the country and on-sell, so it's cheaper to buy direct.

Hope this helps!

Nathan.

Who are Model Hobbies?

HStore have a tail boom for a Raptor 60 for $22... dunno about a Vigor boom tho.

For $58 - it'd want to be carbon fibre....

Hi Nathan,Sorry Model engines who are the importers but they sell only to shops,
No the tail boom was std ali I buy all my spares from helikraft in tiawan, like i said around $7.00 us
for a 50 boom so $58.00 was a shock,$200 spent and all i got was 1 x main shaft, fly bar ,boom and drive belt,
cant complain too mutch cause i only paid $160.00 FOR THE VIGOR off ebay, had only 1/2 hr on it when the guy crashed it,then he lost the tail section, has an os61 as well with it.Raptor parts fit the tail section so i am putting the Quick ali upgrade tail assembly on it,

Regards Ron

Hi Ron, Just wondering if you found any cheaper Vigor parts local or overseas. I also bought a vigor and find that the parts are very over priced. I still have not fixed my vigor as parts are so expensive. Hope you had some success with parts as I have not. Thinking of going to a raptor 60/90 if I can't find parts any chaeper!
Cheers, Brian.

Hi Brian, what parts do you need to fix your Vigor? I have just found that the Raptor 60 main grips fit straight onto the Vigor. So i am now looking at changing a lot of parts as they get crashed to raptor .am looking at now fitting the raptor 90 shaft drive to the Vigor that would help with cutting the belt in half io boom strikes which i seem to have a habit off.Regards Ron
