Venture and 8uafs setting?
 

I purchased a JR Venture and installed Futaba radio equipment. Does any know how to set the radio up for this combo? Which parameter, SW2 or SN3? The manual only explains how to setup JR radios, for obvious reasons.

The Swash setting that you would want to use would be the SR-3
The settings with in the Swash ARF would have to be adjusted to get the right movement of the servos.

Now I am really confused.
The description on Tower's website says:
SN-3 = 3 servos, single elev, pitch, ail. I thought this was correct.
SR-3 = 3 servos, 2 servos sharing pitch/roll. I'll give SR-3 a try.
Is a new 9Z easier to program than the 8 Supers?

The 9Z radio is on of the harder radios to program until you are familiar with it. The 9C series of radios from Futaba is the easiest radio to program by Futaba.
The difference in the two swash plates are the way the servos are connected. If you look in your manual on page 32 & 33 it shows the different swash plate lay outs. Your Heli uses the SR-3 lay out, with the exception of the elevator servo is in the front of the swash-plate and not the rear as shown. Futaba has an FAQ that tells you how to change this around. Ah.....thanks for the info. I was focused on the heli part of the manual and didn't pay attention to beginning with the basics.
