I'll sure be glad when the price of the EFI systems get affordable to the average flyer. That would be awesome in an Extreme!!!! It wouldn't do me much good with my flying but it'd still be way cool!

The 70 work very well lots of power , I'm only kidding about the engine ,the price I'm sure will be the price of a Fury Extreme. I would be interested in a FI 91 or 70 though.

Sorry, gentlemen, but the picture is a hoax. It looks like a photomanipulation of the O.S. Max .70SZ-H heli engine.

Sorry, but O.S. hasn't announced any plans for such an engine.

That's what I get for looking on the other site. :) :D

Do you get your new replacement starter yet? I got a hold of a used Dynatron starter which works perfect for the YS80.

furyflyer2, no I havent gotten my starter back yet, I was at my LHS this morning looking at the Dynatron too, they have it for $60.00, which is not bad, that thing is heavy though. Seems like my Kevan is starting to die now. Are you using the Dynatron with 12volts or 24? I guess I owe you one, and now will have to take your recomendation, and buy one. It works pretty good huh? Daz...

Um , Daz, I believe that was my recomendation. And just for the record, I run on 12v most of the time, but use 24 if the OS gets a little obnoxious.

It works very well on 12 volts. The battery I used was not charged for about 1 year and it still had enough to turn the engine over.

Duelist, I remember you recommended this one in the 1st place, but I was just trying to save some money. I'm sure now I will buy one, and use it specifically for the YS80, and when I get the Magnum back I will use that on my other engines. The YS80 seems to eat up that magnum, and other low end starters, because it didnt have any problems with my other engines. Daz...

OK, now I have seen so musch about starters. Here is what works at our field. I have on my field box, and big motorcycle battery. Using a standard hobbico starter-DIRECTLY cabled to the battery, it starts my friends OS91 with no trouble.

The whole key is getting the juice(current) to the battery. BYpass any power panel you may be using, and replace the standard small gague wire on the starter if it is too small. Make sure you have a good clean connection, and go for it.

If my plain jane started can turn over the 91 with no trouble, then it should turn anything under that over as well. Of course you have to amke sure your battery has a good charge on it, but I only need to charge mine every three weeks or so.

Remember...They key is to get the Voltage/current there without loosing it in the connections.
