Fury Setup

I am setting up my new Fury 60 on my Futaba 9CHP. I am using swash SR3 and reveresed the elev. servo. All ATV are 100% and no subtrims used. the swash leveled pretty good and it seams to stay level after collective changes. Is there anything more I need to do to it as far as checking the throws on it? any other mixes? This is my First CCPM heli and I did not build it! All my other helis are mechanical mixing. Thanks for any tips.

Jimmy

Just make sure the swashplate moves level. You can do this by,
holding the flybar and move the collective.Watch the paddles they should not move, do this for both elevator and aileron. If you do see movement you will need to add some mixing til it's eliminated. I'm using 3-5% mixing in the up side of the elevator and nothing else.

You can post your question in our Manufacture forum above under the Miniature aircraft section. Please be patient not everyone is on-line the same time you are to answer questions.

Another thing to look for is the pins going through the washout hub. Make sure your push rods are long enough so that the pins don't hit the surface of the swashplate in extreme cyclic and pitch positions.

Have fun, you'll love your Fury!

Check your throws! With the Fury basic head you can only get about 5 degrees cyclic both aileron and elevator without binding. With the metal head you can get 6 degrees both directions. Use your swash ATVs to get these set. Use an idle up and check for binding at both full positive and negative collective while holding full aileron and elevator at the same time. The head should turn smoothly at extremes of control.
You'll love that Fury!
