Robbe - Cuatro

Eytan, the Cuatro, while is does have Robbe's second-to-none quality going for it, is a BIG helicopter. It can swing 800mm blades. As Robbe helis have always been around 1/2 pound heavier than it's competition (M/A, Hirobo, etc) for their 60 sized birds..mostly due to the robust construction. We Robbe flyers were happy when the Big Block motors came out to provide the Oommph we needed. And the SE, Nova and Milli need only a gearing change to handle the power...the drive, T/R system, M/R head and bearings are up to the HP input, as opposed to some manufactures having to put in more bearings, frame stiffening, braces, etc. But the downside was always the extra 8 oz. weight :( . So now we have power and a heli that can handle it...so what does Robbe do? They put together a 13 1/2 pound heli that puts a 80/91 motor in the same power/weight category as a 60 with a 60! In spite of Robbes claims that the Cuatro is for 3D, training, FAI and Camera platform I don't see a stampede to buy a heavy heli that uses expensive spares (blades, etc.) and has preformance of a 60 with a 60 while burning the fuel an 80/91 requires! If you are a person who dances to the beat of a different drimmer and likes to be the only one at a Fun Fly with an un-common breed of heli...the Cuatro would be the heli for ya'...! Chris

Cuatro

Cuatro is a very good bird, it is based on the Nova, which is trouble free mechanics, and it is bigger and suatable for 90 size or gas engines.
all our guys are very happy, since the heli is not so expensive, stable, and very easy to maintain
it is fly with 80cm blades and 12cm+tail blades.
the performance is excellent, and till the end of the year. robbe will be out of stock ,since many people want this kit.
it comes with many upgrades, etc.
i can send you a manual in PDF

Hope it helps
