Gyro 401 and cable extensions

I have a Hirobo Sceadu 50 with a 401 gyro.
I installed the gyro at the back of the heli (as mention to the manual).
I think that the position of the gyro and the position of the receiver is not too close.
So, can i use extensions for the cables of the gyro to connect it eith the receiver or not?

Yeah, why not? Its only one wire, but a 3 wire extention will work fine. Its not like it changes to position of the wire in the plug...

If you put it on the platform behind the main shaft there's enough cable on the 401 to reach a front mounted reciever.

RE: Gyro 401 and cable extensions

mount it on the back of a sceadu, and yes you will have enough cable to safely get to the rx.... ive been told that its the bast place for it, and ive got it there

the problem you have new is the 12 inches of wire (gyro to servo) that you have to hide....

as for using extensions, it will be ok, but remember if you extend from gyro to rx, then you need 2 extensions. one for the main control wire and one for the singe cable remote gain cable
