What does a Raptor 30 to 50 conversion kit get me?
 

I have several heli's, one of which is a Raptor 30 v2. I have some repairs to do so, I am considering upgrading it the 50 with the conversion kit while I am at it.

What does the conversion get me? Just more power, or would I get more stability too? I am interested in adding a scale body at some time as well.. Would I be better suited to keeping it 30 sized?

More power/ faster
More fuel burning
The ability to run bigger blades
A longer boom.

So what does longer blades and longer boom get me other than size? Does the heli fly smoother? More stability?

More stability... & yes it will fly smoother....

The heli will handle stronger winds than the 30. You will have a lot more power (especially with an O.S 50 hyper). The longer boom will also help the stability, you'll get much more cyclic response and thats all I can think of:D
