Is it better to use all thumbs or finger and thumbs while fling and why?

It's all a matter of personal prefrence...I've heard that fingers and thumbs provide more accurate control but I personally fly better if I use thumbs only.

Like Abram said its personal preference, (I fly thumbs) however you need to use a transmitter tray to fly with finger and thumbs.

Used thumbs for 25 years on Planks but find myself using thumb and finger on the heli..wierd but it feels more natural

I'm just the opposite. I used fingers and thumb flying pattern planks and now use thumbs only flying heli's. Ask this questions to ten heli pilots and they will all give different answers.

Fingers and thumbs but don't use a transmitter tray. I either grip the transmitter with my palms, or sometimes use a neck-strap. I learned to fly finger/thumb style years ago with the planks and now do the same with helis. I personally don't see how anyone could control a heli with thier thumbs, but I see people doing it all the time. :D

I'm a all thumbs kinda fellow I guess LoL, I use thumbs most of the time, but change over to fingers when doing something risky-I learned the thumb method from day 1. But I try to mostly use the pencil grip some call it on Sim practice..

Thumbs here! I've tried otherwise ended up with quickly dis-assembled raptor :D BTW, this is a great idea for a poll, I think I'll post it :p

Well as I already said I fly thumbs, so I just gave a go of the 'pencil grip' on the sim ..........and guess what...........I cant fly! :eek:

And as to holding the Transmitter with your palms!!!!!!
No way! I need all the help I can get to fly my Rappy! :D :cool:

So my thoughts are with the guys that fly with finger and thumb...............boy you MUST be good (or do I mean God?!) :D
