Thumbs Only? or...

So how do you fly? Thumbs only or Thumbs and Fingers? Personally I use thumbs only, I've tried thumbs and fingers once with very bad results :D
(and I thought I've had it :p )

follow up poll to u8at711's post

hi,

i started out using only thumbs, a habit from flying planes.
On the sim i tried out the other method, and after some
practice it really went good. So i can fly the two methods,
on the sim. When really flying outside, i use thumbs and
fingers, only thumbs feels kinda strange even though it works
on the sim.
By the way, i'm just learning to hover, may be it's that.

anyways, i like the thumb and fingers method the best.

Greetz,
wouter

This poll is a great idea, as Maxwell Smart used to say, "glad I thought of it" but I'm new to the forums scene and I didn't know how to create the poll, thats why I only posted the question.
Anyways I'm new to the hobby and I started on the Sim with only thumbs, I started to teach myself how to fly pencil grip, heres my new problem, I fly very wildly with thumbs, I get too aggressive with thumbs, with pencil grip I usually forget to increase my throttle, but I have a more accurate flight, much smoother and less risky for a crash.

Just my 2 cents,

I am a thumb and fingers guy. Seems to give me more precision that way. Just my 2 cents.

I find that using thumbs and fingers my flying is more precise. I am not doing anything wild yet so as of now this seems to be working fine.

Thumbs and fingers personally give me more precision.

Always thumbs and fore finger. Makes you fly smoother and you don't let the sticks snap back. Makes for better pilots. I have taught everyone to do it this way that I teach. Have no complaints.

Thumbs only. I have some trouble getting the stick in the lower right corner smoothly when using thumb and finger, my hand gets too close to the transmitter that way. And it seems harder for me to make accurate stick movements with thumb+finger, you have to use your wrist a bit and that's less accurate for me than thumb only.

Right hand: thumbs and fingers

Left hand: Just a thumb

Just a habit from holding the weight of the transmitter in the left hand.

Thumbs only for me. I tried using my other fingers but found I had more range of motion with jus my thumbs.

I like really sensitive controls with thumbs and fingers. I fly planes with thumbs only, though.
