Battery voltage circuit
 
i want to put a lipo in my heli's as the receiver packs i have some 7.4 800mah and 11 2200mah volt packs i just don't know what i need to reduce the voltage to 6 volt could anyone please help with a diagram and list of what i need to buy at radio shack .... Thanks

I dont know about Radio Shack but you can get a regulator at http://www.radiosouthrc.com go 5.3 volts, you dont need 6 and your equipment will last longer. You especially dont want to run 6v on most tail servos.

they also have stuff that is specifically made to do something like that. They are external BEC's and you can get them in the 5 or 6v models. Most hobby places carry them, just look at your favorite dealer. If you can't find them I can look up the link for ya =) I believe there is one called UBEC
