Difficulty level on G2

Can the level of difficulty be changed on the G2 sim ? If yes how ?

I have learnt nose in within a week on the sim , yet I have been battling for weeks on the real thing , I tried nose in the past weekend on the real thing , what a flop ,

For certain the real thing and the sim are worlds apart ,I guess you just learn co-ordination mainly

The manual can be downloaded here:

I use the RF Deluxe but the G2 has 2-3 levels...

I too found that I was in a simlar situation, mainly with 3D maneuvers like rolling circles. What I discovered was that I needed to learn set-up on my real life machine much better. The better I set up my machine (Futura Nova) the better my 3D was and the closer it felt to what realFlight G2 was doing. So getting control interaction eliminated, tuning curves rock solid, gyro settings right on, etc. the closer what I did on my computer looked to what I did on the grass.

I admit that it does take the edge off opposed to real flying, but I am now convinced that what I have in RealFlight is a very, very optimal set-up and trimmed machine and trying to get my real machine closer to the feel just made my real machine that much better and made things I learned on the sim transfer much more seamlessly than before.

As far as the settings of difficulty go... never looked into that but after Culverson's message I am going to go look at it and see if I can ramp up the difficulty.

Just my 2cents,

Good luck with the nose-in, just remeber, when you feel the wind....MOVE! :-)

Try adding a mild wind that has a 360 degree random direction with varried gusts.
