Problems installing Pre-Flight
 

I just purchased Pre-Flight and can't install the software. I have been in contact with the provider. They sent me a link to download the program as they thought the disk might be defective. That did not work either. The problem is when installing at the very end I get this error. INSTALLSHIELD ENGINE HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. I can't get any further than this. Can someone please help.

I'm not familiar with that sim but here are a couple of tips to try.

Have you read the FAQ's on [link=http://www.preflightsim.com/PFFAQ.HTM]Pre-Flights[/link] web site, you might find the answer there.

What operating system are you trying to install it on, Vista? If so, is it compatible with Vista? Are you running a 32 bit system or a 64 bit system?

I'm running Vista 64 bit system and I have been finding a lot of programs that won't work with a 64 bit system. [:@]

One more thing you might want to try, ask your question in the sim forum, someone in there might be able to help.
