xp9303-GV1 setup?

This is a tough question to put into writting so bare with me.

I am not understanding the way the 9303 gov function works with the futaba GV-1. I have the Govenor function active in the 9303 and my GV-1 plugged into channel 5. I have a 7 channel receiver so there is no gov on/off toggle switch. I am trying to activate the govenor in normal mode at a set throttle position. When I access the RPM setting screen on the governor and switch between flight modes the govenor rpm setting screen stays on s1 and does not let me set rpms in any mode.

when I set 1, 2 or all 3 flight modes to 0% I get the same results: off-s1 and "rpm"-s2. So I can only set the RPM for s2 and not for s1 or normal. How do I get it to let me set the rpm's of each flight mode?

Also what does the 100% mean in the 9303 governor setup screen? My guess is that it varies the top end rpm slightly acording to how you skew the 100% in relation to each flight mode....ie 0%-125%

I did my best to set up the governor/radio and did one test flight and then looked at my max RPM...it was 21,450rpm [:@] I don't want to experiment anymore so I am turning to you guys;)

ps. I had everything working fine with my 7202 but it doesn't have the govenor function that my new 9303 has.

I dont have my 9303 but my guess is this has something to do with switch assignments in the screen you need to hold the button down and power up to see.

Take a look at the servo monitor screen and see if the remote gain channel for the governor is doing anything when you flip the switch.
