Help needed in programming Futaba 10c

Hey all, Is there an idiots guide to setting this up? The book talks to you like you know what your doing. I'm very new to heli and not understanding what they are talking about. Lol, Anyone have a beginners guide for the 10c???

no but I've got one and will help if I can, but to start from the ground up might take some time, and how much do you all ready know, i.e. have you got you name for your mode in the 10c, and then it's what head i.e. H3 ect it's the way the servos move the rotor, then set up the end points and what will need reversing, use the display "servos" to see what each servo does and how they all work to move the head, it's one of the neat thing the 10c does, and how it compares with what the servos do in real life, one thing that court me out was the throttle, better to low than to high so set half throttle for 40% and 6 degree's of pitch, well for a starter,
use vr switch's for the pitch and throttle fine tuning,
I check this site most days so if and when I can I'll answer any questions, but your need a few day's just to get the basics, but it's well worth it,
well this should keep you busy till tomo,

I guess my main taxing question is Idleups. I can assign them, But can't find where to define them. I was somethere....and I could adjust the 3 servos for the idl1,2 and 3, but not the throttle.

*****edit*****
After looking at the book again, Are the idleups set thru the throttle curves????

yes your along the right lines, idl 1'2'3 are there for 3D flight where you want throttle all the time and want + pitch and - pitch, swich E is a good one for that, three way,

if you want to ajust then go in set mode and press mode again for ADVANCE "PIT-CURVE use the cursor to go to the top "NORM turn thr dial to "IDR1" or 2 then push the push

Is there a way to limit the collective with IDL3? I wanted to setup a "Precision Mode". So I turned down the pitch on IDL3, but my collective when moving around is still maxed. Can something like that be turned down??? Or would that be a better match for a RATE mode if the 10c has it?

Did you enable the idle up 3 throttle curve? If you haven't then you can make all the changes you want in the pitch curve, put the switch there, and you still won't see the effect.

Yea, I have that done. At the moment I have IDL3 set for 75% and the pitch collective set for +-20 degrees. So now I have fine control on the up and down portion of the collective and a steady throttle. But what I'm triend to do is to limit the other 4 servos too. Say, maby 10% total output?? Is this possible?

good one, I under stand what you mean but, try page 42 & 43 in your manual, the answer is yes, you have to assign a switch for the different D/R, EXP. as far as I understand, not one I've used, if it's that lively I'd turn it down at mid stick, it's like a car you get used to the way they handle and when you jump into someone's else's it take's a little while to adjust, one more thing to go wrong,
Another way is to do two modes with two set-ups, you wont be able to swop in flight but you shoudn't any way,
