Head Button

:)

I too wonder what the head button is for other than the purpose of having a large surface area(button)to stop the mainhead w/the palm of your hand. IMO our left & right palms are substitute to the rotor disc brakes like some of the full size heli's(just my opinion).

:D

head button?

I have tried stopping a chopper with a head button. Not that big of a difference in my opinion. In fact, it seems I have to push down a little harder to slow the rotor with the button, than with just my hand on the raptor. If the heli comes with one great, if not I would not worry about it.

its for those that are good enough to touch on the ground inverted!!

I like them for slowing down the head, doesnt catch your hand and try to throw it off, my raptor doesnt have one and Im not buying one for it though.

I have not done it, or seen it done, but I have seen the tips of blades scraped up from doing this!! there are some that can! I suppose if I had a button on mine Id try it once! maybe just a bounce on it, a crash kit is only $50:D
