What do people use to store there heli in when it is not in use. Can you get heli storage bags as for RC cars etc... I have found one such object http://www.protekhelibag.com/protekbag1.htm but that doesnt look too good and is expencive. Anything to store all the kit & heli?

I use this for taking my heli to work,other than that i just pop the links and fold the blades back and set it on a shelf

How large does the box have to be? "As large as your heli.." Any dimensions makes etc apriciated..

Here is my $2.08 fix for the storage problem.,

I used a couple of tube wall hangers used for hangin ladders and such, They were 99 cents each, and have a ton of uses.

The case is configured to hold the heli w out dissassembly,its over kill for a lot of folks,but it handles the 90,000 miles a year I cover both on the ground and in the air.(w no damage to the heli)
To come up w a size,measure from the tip of the canopy to the furthest point on the tail,and from the bottom of the skids to the top of the rotorhead and add an inch,also add an inch lengthwise
Then measure from the outside of one skid to the outside of the other.

Cool. Wingbags look like a good idea. I went looking for a big box like that yesterday without any luck. The local Diy Warehouse only had small boxes or ones which a person could get in side!

I hang my heli on the wall in my garage. Keeps it out the way and off the ground where it could have things dropped on it by less interested members of the household ;)
I should mention that the bike is no longer there and the Dazzler has been replaced by a new one (after a dumb thumbs incident with the one in the photo....), but the heli still hangs right there. It's just a couple of pieces of strong rubber hose screwed to the wall and tied together in the middle with a zip tie. Slip the back of the skids under the bottom one, the the front of the skids under the top one. The zip tie keeps the bottom piece of hose from stretching too far. Works great.
