I have 7-hours now on the Clearview simulator. And, Ifinished Volume1 of "Rays Authoritative DVDSeries"on Transmitters. (I thought he was using a XP9303...?)</font></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font size="2">I have an entry-level Walkera W-2402 transmitter that I purchased with a crashed Walkera CB180D. The two were a set and bound together at the factory, and the transmitter still drives the servos on the wrecked (and being repaired) heli.</font></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font size="2">In the mail last evening I received a brand new Walkera CB180Q. The plan was to use the existing 2402 transmitter for it.</font></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">
But, here it gets complicated....</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font size="2">Within a week, I am excited to be receiving my first JR 9303 Transmitter! This will be my first mid-level transmitter. I found a good price on one and snapped it up.</font></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font size="2">Now - - I found out that I bought the JR XP9303. Yes, a "P". Is this 72 Mhz? Did I make a HUGE mistake? It did come with a receiver and servos, though.</font></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font size="2">What is this I heard rumored about a 2.4 Ghz conversion kit for the XP9303? Where does it attach?</font></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font size="2">Any ideas? Can this new RC Heli guy be saved?</font></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">

Yes the XP is 72mhz. The X9303 is the 2.4 integrated version.

The xp model has a removable module in the back and you can get the Spektrum 2.4 conversion module from Horizon to convert it to 2.4 but I doubt it will bind with that particular helicopter. The receiver has to be DSM2 compatable to bind with a Spektrum module.

Thanks for the intial (calming me down) response.

I will do that.

What would be the best heli-receiver (with gyro?) that works with 400 class rc helis and this combo?

Anyone have any good recommendations or good experiences?
