With conventional gear I put the front wheel first and the plane lands perfectly. Why on this one it didn't work??? Why??? Why???

If you examine the pic....

It looks like an emergency landing attempt on a golf course. Note the trench dug by the nosewheel... (It was down... that plane doesn't have retracts!) the soft ground could easilly have caught the wheel and folded it.... resulting in the aircraft flipping.

There was a similar incident with a plane having the nosewheel fold, flipping the aircraft when the plane landed on a snow covered runway. The soft snow piled up, and snapped the nosewheel... the plane ended up on its back.
