Darn it. Wondered why glueing Penguins on the wing of a Catalina didn't work, should have used flies, (about a 1000 I think).

As much fun as it is, guys, I'm moving it to the clubhouse because it's not electric related.

The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum used to have some fly-powered planes on display in one of the glass display cabinets. I saw them there in 1983 or so, and I'm pretty sure they're still there. Those flies must be getting pretty tired by now.

Sounds interesting to me. Catching flies is not easy though for me. I end up using a wad of newspaper to get them. :D:)

Now if you could only train them to do 3D maneuvers.

Try using Hornets or Wasps, they handle 3D alot better... :D

I wonder how a 4-blade prop would work. Did anyone try dragon flies?

Only problem is hornets and wasps sting and it can be painful.
