I have a white and red scheme and am wondering if anyone can tell me what color red it is? Is it an ultracote color? I'm sure it is listed in this thread somewhere but I searched and couldn't find it. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Thanks Mike but I am looking for the colors on the covering not the paint. Specifically the red.

Ohhh I see that now....
Just so everyone here knows this information came from Henry today, Yes Christmas Eve.

From Henry "I have all the covering here please send me your address and what color you want. Thanks "

So Saddler drop Henry an email at [email protected] and he will fix you up.

Modellbau uses their own covering.
Give Henry a call, he usually has rolls in stock, and when I needed some for my Tornado he just popped some in the mail.

I just finished building my kit. This is my first turbine. I spent some time with it, took me a good month to build the jet. I think it came out looking great. I put a Jetcat P80 on the plane and it sure has plenty of power. Pretty cool to own a turbine.

The P80 is possibly the heaviest turbine you could put on one of these, I would advise some reinforcement to the rear engine deck, any heavy landing is going to load that rear deck and split the fus where it joins the turbine mount, this happend a lot to another similar airframe.

For part of that you are in luck, check out Dreamworks at:

http://www.dreamworksrc.com/catalog/products_new.php

for multiple wire connectors.

Go to the Falcon 120 thread there is lots of pics of multiple servo wires onto a RS232 connector that automatically connect when the wings are plugged in, don't remember a quick attach for the booms just advise to keep the tail on and after taking off the booms put a spreader between the two booms and transport them connected to that.

I am back in the hotel know and since I have kept you guys waiting for a bit I wanted to show you the new sport Scheme and also the mods of the new V3.Like I mentioned before the New V3 Tornado is heavly modified. Please see pictures below for the changes. One thing that you can not see from the pictures is, Carbon reinforcment in the nose and engine mount area in the fuselage and also the airplane has been lowered 1 1/2 inches. So previous struts will not fit this airplane. We have designed new trailing link struts better made for grass operations. The struts wheels and brakes come with our Red Jet Series retracts.

We are taking pre-orders for the airplane NOW if you want to be put on the list please contact us with your full details Name, number, email address and mailing address to
[email protected]

The final price for the airplane is $469.00 this includes Composite Fuel Tank, Turbine Mount, Composite control horns, Cockpit deck and pilot, full hardware. This model is built to handle the New Rabbit 100, King Tech K110 and the Jet Cat P100.

Looks like some very interesting improvements. If a person were to glass the wings this would be a very nice plane indeed. I was wondering if the composite boms caus problems with getting the CG correct

Actually you are correct if you glass the wings it would be very nice. as for CG issues we have built 2 both with K80 and no problems. The one I have in my shop will have a Rabbit 100 in it and I will advise on any issues

Will the blue scheme have these lines or the lines of V2 kits?

The only other scheme is going to be the Red Navy Trainer scheme not the blue.

Oh yea I had one of my guys open the box and quickly put the plane together for you to see. The picture is blurry becuase he took with a cell phone but I will better pictures with the Decals as soon as I am back in the States
