Hey guys wanted to let everybody now that we had a large order cancel so we have Tornado V3 available for sale in this shippmemt coming mid June. I have had over 130 emails with people requesting planes and anybody that wanted one might e able to get one. We are opening our order system again today and the airplanes will be reserved first come first serve. So if you would like a new V3 please send email to

[email protected] with your full name, phone number and address. Please don't worry about color scheme we will take care of that when you place the order. Also please be advised that there are only 35 planes to sell so to be fair the first 35 people will get aircraft. We will use time stamps to place orders.

Not to repeat this over please look the market place in the jet section and please read everything about the upgrade package. The main points are internal servo's heavily reinforced wings with carbon fiber and heavy ply for landing gear as well as composite booms.

Thanks Henry, mine just showed up today!

Iwas looking at the wings and the gear openings and the new Pro-Link struts from Todd, and they look to me to be a bit on the long side for the mains.
Isanyone else using the struts from Todd? Did you have to tweak the openings?

The gear we make for this plane is made by our sister company spring air and fits perfectly. The gear from Dream works should fit because Todd measured it himself but I could not say since I never seen this gear or put it into one of our airplanes.

Fuel Tank replacement hardware fittings ... what to use and where to purchase ??

i have a V1 Tornado ,,, the tank was not drawing fuel correctly ... so pulled out fittings to inspect and found the rubber in stopper was bad shape and needs replacing along with the rest of the tubing inside the tank.

i purchased this plane used , so do not know what original fittings package was used .

any one know what to purchase for replacement ?

also ,,, with this long stock fuel tank , would i still extend the clunk line from the stopper to almost to the back wall of the fuel tank ?

ok, thanks, Joe

The CG is the same on all airplanes V1,V2 and V3.

You can get fuel tank hardware at Dreamworks.

Just watch the weight issue as the Tornado V3 is a much stronger & heavier model than the Falcon 120

When the V3 arrives and I've built the demo model I'll weigh it and post on here. Just to save you expense of buying electric retracts and them then not being up to the job

If they are I'll be fitting electric retracts too

EflIte 120 size used in the "Flacon" Baldeagle

V3's in the UK mid June

Ian

When I built my Falcon, E-Flight retracts where not around, so it was a set of Pro-Lynx fitted and they have not given me any source of concern, even with my porker, originally fitted with a P80 and then a Merlin 90 to reduce the all up weight.

Yeah I think the Eflites will be a bit wimpy for the V3 with a Ram 750. I was talking more along the lines of Robarts Electrics or I even saw Turnigy is coming out with with large scale electric retracts. I don't like the struts with the elfights. I wanted to adapt either Modellbau's or Dreamworks struts to the system. Just seeing if anyone out there has tried this yet. I guess I could just go the old air route since there are no electric brakes yet!

The last one I done was only just over 14lb so yes if you are talking 18+ they might not be upto the job, they need to come out with a 10-12Kg size would suit a lot of jets out there.
