I have been told that my Tornado V3 is now at Stanstead airport awaiting customs clearance along with the rest of the UK delivery, so not long now! i have a P60 for it, someone must have fitted one of these to a Tornado? how does it perform?

Alright gentlemen. On Dreamworks RC they have a similiar tank if not the same model as ours for sale, vent is on top. Very nice...but I didnt do that and put my vent tube inside wich was a little short. Probably a loss of 4 to 6 oz due to the rise of the tank. No big deal.
But what kind of flight times are you guys getting with throttle management? I did 4 min test flights and came in with about an inch or so on the bottom of the tank. I am thinking 5 to 5.5 minutes maybe 6 if I pattern for landing at the buzz of the timer...
SO, I am thinking MODIFY time already! Dreamworks site says its an 85OZ tank? is that the size of ours in the V2 and V3 kits?
Either way, I am making room for another 16 to 18oz...
YEAH BABY!

I've got my timer set to 5:30...so between 5:30 and 6:00 I start configuring for landing and land with about an inch of fuel left as well so I figure between that and the UAT I'm good for 2or 3 go arounds. This is with an old fuel thirsty AMT mercury. I have a k80 in my tams f16 and I know it's a more efficient engine than my mercury.

Hey Guys! I had a JC Rabbit VT90 on mine with the Dreamwork tank and a BVM UAT and my timer was set to 8 mins and I still had about 1-1.5" of fuel left. The tank I had in before buying the DW one was the stock with the inside the tank vent which I couldn't fill all the way, my timer was set to 7 mins.

Smoke in this configuration of airframe is a pain in the a**e, because of the tail and booms being in the exhaust you get an oily mess all over the back that needs to be constantly wiped off, even then it drips onto the floor of your car from parts you have missed, its surprising how much oil gets inside the servo covers after a while and contaminates the surrounding wood, just a heads up for those that have not done it before.

Thats Awesome to hear I have purchased stuff from them before to ship to me here and they are like the Brazil Tower Hobbies. Also Ihave 12 flights on my new V3 and Imust say it flies like it is on rails and performs awesome. I am planning to head to Honduras for the Iguana Cup and burn some holes there with my V3 with P100. I have never radared the airplane but it has to be pushing 220mph becuase it keeps up with my sons Bandit with no problem. Great Job Henry keep up the great work.

Henry was very unprofessional with me on my V3. Had 2 small issues with the kit. Email'd Henry with problems and he told me if I did not like his product or service send the plane back and he would give a refund in a very sarcastic note. He has lost a turbine purchase and landing gear. Very disappointed with him.

Icalled you 3 times to get your info but you were busy orin meetingsso Istoped Ihave over 100 people that want airplanes and it is unfair to them that Iam chasing after you for a plane that Ican give to somebody that wants one and is ready at that moment to buy one. If that is wrong then I guess that Iam wrong and you can tell the 100+ people on waitlist for the plane that they cant have one becuase Ihad to wait for you.

Well from my opinion Henry is a stand up guy and gives excellent customer service. He always answers the phone day or night and goes above and beyond to get things done. I ordered a V3 upgrade kit and he called me telling me that they would not be in so he refunded my money and one week later I get a knock on the door from FedEx and there it was. I called and told him that I recieved the upgrade and he told me that it must have been a mistake since they are so busy it must have shipped by accident but not to worry and keep it and he do not even ask for money.

Henry,
You are wrong for that reply. You did not have to wait for me. I simply told you I was in a meeting and for you to send me over a invoice and I would pay it right away and you never did and you never called me back. I have the text messages confirming that. You also told me that if I pay I would be number 120 in line for one, If I understood you right there was no longer a waiting list because you had an extra 7 according to your previous post. I'm not the only person that says your customer service is horrible. That Tornado that you shipped to GA belongs to a friend of mine and he also said that his experience with you was very unprofessional and your estimated delivery dates are not even close to actual dates.
But, as you always do, you blame the consumer for your mistakes and you don't accept negativity very well. From my very first call to you, you were very short and blunt with any questions I had about the plane as if you didn't feel like answer questions but just wanted my CC#.
Thanks but No Thanks, you can keep it.
For all you guys that say Henry is a stand up guy, wait until you have a problem or need parts! Good Luck! This is the same guy that couldn't even supply me with a engine mount let alone a wing or boom. Once the charge is made you can forget about customer service!
Good Luck Tornado Owners!

Well my experience with him is always great had lots of questions and did have problems with one of the aviation planes I bought and he got it resolved very quickly. Henry and Alberto from Modellbau have helped us down here so much. They really do everything possible for us to get our products and help down here. This is my opinion for what it's worth

Let me get this right, flame customer service yet you turn and buy a 3k jet. Why even bother coming here? Two sides to every story gentlemen. Air your laundry somewhere else.
I don't understand those who drive a BMW and complain about the high maintenance? Really? I take 40 mg of celexa to protect me from society. Lmao
IT'S amazing that I followed Henry's advice and my plane flys amazing. It also amazes me that all the issues posted here I haven't had....hmmm maybe because I take responsibility and read!? Built the plane to MY standards, and nothing has happened? My two collapse gear landings weren't because spring air, it was because the plate on the nose gear won't let you lock the nose unless you slow her down enough to reduce the pressure and drag. Jets 101 boys. It wasn't cables, spring air, or the blocks fault, I was just too fast to lock them. Gotta slow her down and they lock every time.
But wait, maybe I should complain and get a free fuse replacement? Or I can take accountability for my flying and slow down...
Hmmmm wonder what I should do????
Henry, can I have free fuse since I can't slow down and build my plane?
