Default Jet Joe 3000 service issue

I just wanted to put this out here to see every ones thought. I purchased a JJ3000 from Mark Harper awhile back ago. I had to send it in for repairs because it developed a rubbing issue during the cool down process. I sent it to Mark on 8/30; the day after I sent it to him I called Mark stating that it was sent. He informed me that he no longer supports JJ turbines but he would take care of this one. He found the rubbing issue and he needed to take a little material off the rear turbine wheel. He stated that it needed to be re-balanced so he was going to ship it to Gabe. I called Gabe when he received the turbine. He stated that he has it; this was about a month ago. Now as of 10/15 Gabe sent me an email stating that the turbine would be shipped back to me early the following week. NO turbine has been shipped. Now I have tried emailing Gabe, and calling him and I get no response at all. I have called Mark asking what is going on with my turbine, He has also tried calling Gabe but we get no response.

Edited by Me.
I just received a call from Mark tonight ( 10/27 ) about this post. He is deeply sorry that this is happening. I just want everyone to know that I have no issues with him or JetJoe turbines just this recent service order. He stated that no matter what happens on this issue he will make things right. I believe him because I have done other business with him recently. Mark an I are going to give Gabe more time in the event his Military duties are preventing him from getting this issues resolved and shipped back to me. I am not trying to bash anyone nore do I want anyone else to as well. My main intent was to get to the bottom of this.

No swinging from me, but I would say whoever currently has (or last had) your engine owes you an engine. Ultimately if this Gabe fellow doesn't have it, or won't respond, I would say that Mark is responsible as he sent it out basically on contract to get repaired. If I'm working on a motorcycle and I send it out to be wired, and that shop closed up, it's still my responsibility to my customer to get him his bike back.
It's unfortunate, but these are the typical JetJoe stories

Troy,
I hope you get your Turbine back...these type of situations suck!!!!!
I hope this is a case where someone is just missing their e-mails...vacations etc, and all will work out for you

Just my 2 cents worth........

Maybe Gabe is unavailable at the moment and cannot get your JJ3000 returned to you as promised. I kinda thought he was with the military somehow. I've NEVER heard of Gabe stiffin' anybody. In fact, I'm bettin' Gabe has been stiffed more than once from his supplier?

BTW.... How much time do you have on it? I mean the turbine before it needed service.......

Can I remind everyone that our rules on manufacturer bashing apply to all manufacturers.

Troy,
You will get your engine back, so just be patient with Gabe. I just got my JJ1800 back
last week and like you, we all get frustrated at times when it not as fast as we expect.
I wish you luck.

If history is any indicator Gabe is one of the good guys, but your engine is half way around the world so its probably gonna be a bit.
Rich, you best watch out-I know a guy that got put on moderated status for posting a picture of a bunny!!!. Scotty

Rich, what they just did to you is a joke.
Heads would roll for that over here, as you rightly said jets are supposed to be fun!

Rich,
Maybe it was "Chinese" popcorn and had nothing to do with a quality post?

Just guessin' here....

Rich,
Is it a quality product? Do I have to send it back to the country of origin if/when I have a problem with it? You know it looks like another famous brand of popcorn.......
