Default F-16 Arctic Aggressor Visibility?

I'm considering the arctic aggressor scheme for a 1/6 F-16 and I'm wondering how visible it is. Any less visible than a grey F-16?

I suspect the Black will make it better. I have to say that I find visibility a real problem especially in the winter months here in the UK when the sun is low and glinting off ones plane

Just as bad as any other scheme. The F-16 dissapears from you period. At a distance all you see is black, even with T Bird colors.
IMHO, just go with what you like.

This is why I am going with a panther for some reason they seem to be very good visually

I had mine in that paint scheme. On the ground it is cool as heck, in the air even David Schulman who test flew mine said here in the AZ sky it was not enjoyable to see.

I repainted mine in the Red white and blue YF-16 color scheme. Glad I did.

Rex Briant in GA had one in that scheme also, GA sky must be slightly different then in AZ cause he loved it, or at least didnt say he hated it.

The F16's I have seen that are all grey actually look better, they do shadow out but the figure is easy to see. Camo shadows out and you cant tell what your looking at or body configuration.

Just my 2 cents.

RB has the blue artic agressor on his and its hard to see except for the white nose. when its nose on, all you see is the white dot coming at you.. Of course the grey is tough too.

I changed the color scheme of my Tamjets 1/8 scaler as the Edwards scheme just disappeared on me, did a fun scale tiger meet and visibility problems were a thing of the past.

I have only 12 flights on mine so far but I can't say it was all that hard to see. I would not change it, spent way to much time painting and making the markings for it.

I have one in the Arctic Agressor scheme and it is hard to see at times. Lots of wing rocking to see which side is up. I think bigger issue is the short wingspan and low fuselage profile. Wing tip rails help. Solid grey bottom is actually harder to pick up than the white/black/grey on top.

It is still a neat paint scheme and gets lots of attention.

I have not had any problem seeing mine. I have flown it in cloudy and sunny skies with no problems. If you check out the video on youtube of mine you can judge for yourself.

It is a great scheme...very visible IMO. This was my FEJ 1/5.5 F-16 in Artic Agressor...I have flown it in dark gray rainy weather at Mississippi and Kentucky events and bright sun shine too...never a problem.

This video was sho at Jets Over KY with 400 ft. ceiling and very gray. Pretty low visibility...couldn't do really any vertical or would have been IFR!

Good luck! Great airframe!

Thanks for the input guys.

Rex, where you able to get your FEJ F-16 without the FEJ landing gear?

+1, the aggressor scheme stands out to me regardless of the sky flown in. from some of the previous comments it would stand to reason everyone's eyes are different in what they can/can't see. might be worth while to see if you can find one to watch fly in person and see how your eyes do with it.

Same experience here. I had a Yellow F-16 DF years ago in the Edwards scheme. It did not show up well and would disappear when coming out of a turn heading toward me. I now have a FEJ F-16 in the Orange Tiger Meet scheme and it shows up very well.

No. I bought mine from Dave 'Whodaman" Reifer at such a good price...it was like getting the gear for free. I was the one that got with John at Matrix to work through the prototype design and get one done...best investment I have made in a jet part...flawless every time!!!
