rather that think twice before putting another ''mini Bandit'' to the market.

To begin with it is possible to discuss some models of planes!
For example Mig-15UTI <-This plane already did? (Pair pilots)

What do you think of a Hunter.
big wing and also big wingcord.(that is good for small planes.)

Many of the planes mentioned are available in either 70mm or 90mm EDF versions which are excellent convertions. If doing something ''new'' why not go for something that does not excist already.
three examples of planes that I haven't seen in the larger EDF segment.
SAAB J29, a single engine jet fighter which flies great as a model with alot of room for electronics.
Harrier

Well the fuse is out of the molds, now just waiting on wings..
Then start laying out the internal formers and mounts for the little p-20 and 16-20oz of fuell

obviously I'm not a JetCat rep, but how about something like this, looks like could be a lot of fun:

RE: P20 - What jet would you like?
I had the prototype of my Sprite engine on this glider and it flew fast but was overpowered for the airframe with the 2 Kg of thrust that the prototype engine was giving at the time. The airframe was a bit weak and small for the power and weight. On the 4th flight it entered a spin and could not be recovered from it. I was not sure if the engine mounted on top with high CG caused the problem or the V tail. For the P20 you should be looking at something a bit larger.

Gliders are nice but I would not strap a jet engine to anything less then a F5B-glider. for example the Opus V-jet, it can handle the speed and G-loads. ...costs a bit but so does a crach due to flutter.

People do get verry worried about airframes just because it will be driven by a jet. There are some electric set ups that will give the same power if not more than the P20 and people dont seem to get so worried. Just fly the plane within a sensible envelope.
A Jet is just another method of propulsion. All the items, Servos, Switches ets we put in a normal RC plane will work fine in a jet of a similar size. People who fly jets have a tendancy to over engineer and over complicate things................. Why 'Because it is a Jet'.
Keep things simple less to go wrong

Yes ofcause, and I do not put my F5B setup in a 45" foamy L39 nor a weak cheap glider. I se no point in buying a €2500 power source if I can not use it fully so in my mind you do need a proper airframe, that said as you also mentioned it does not have to over kill "just because"

The P20 does not have much thrust. Therefore avoid delta and swept wings aircrafts. A straight wing aircraft like the L39, F9F, F5/20 or the later Russian trainer jets Yak 130 and MigATA. A thick symmetrical airfoil will give low and high speed capabilities.

I think everything is relative when it comes to thrust but obviously if the airframe is of appropriate size and weight there should be no issues. The Mirage should be around 4 Kg take off and the p 20 does around 2.5 kg which sounds good to me.

RE: P20 - What jet would you like?
Somewhere earlier in this thread there was mentioned a twin Lightning for P 20`s.
I still have the old plug and started to change the shape to scale measures. Maybe I kit it but this it´s rather a fun project.

RE: P20 - What jet would you like?
The 44 would be a good candidate, I think.Funny, but when the model was made , we only had homebuilt turbines, sized like a P 80.The engine diametre was just some milimetres smaller than the fuselage width.
Now we are talking about a pair of Kolibris or P 20`s ..........................
After being a sceleton in the closet for more than 15 years, I have a lively interest to reanimate this bird.
