Hysol 9462-Making a group order. UPDATE- THREAD CLOSES AT 11:00PM CST TONIGHT!!!!
I appreciate the tips!!! I just don't want people to think I was out to make a buck. This is all about helping out my fellow jet friends. I would like to know how many of you are going to go to Superman. I would like to put a face with all of this correspondence. Some of you can pitch in and buy me a beer there!!!

Hey folks, I just found this thread in a search. Anyone feel like maybe they bought too much in this order and are now "overstocked" with 9462? If so, I'd like to buy a few cartridges off your hands. Please email me at [email protected] to let me know.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Side note If you use hydrosol or Bvm areopoxy. You can mix by hand and load into Sig mini glue gun. Cut off about 1/4" of nozzle. When your finished simply let remainder set up in glue gun over night. Bend tip slightly to break bond and push out with 4/40 rod. Glue does not stick to tube or rubber plunger. One time cost approx.$2.00. And no chemicals!!!

Kevin, call me at 512-656-2357 I'll talk shop on the F-15 anytime. I finished everything last night minus final install of turbine and lining up of the tail pipe. Tonight will be the last night of work on it and we maiden on Saturday.
As far as mcmaster hysol, Mcmaster screwed up when they entered the product. Their computers call it hysol 9642 instead of 9462.
If you order the 9642 you will get the right product.

Hi all!!
I'm glad that I helped out a lot of folks with the Hysol order----Although I did catch some flack from a major jet manufacturer. All of the last order was sold at cost...I didn't make a dime. I did it to help us all out.
I would like to get another order together soon but this time I want to make just a little for my time....If not for the flack I know I'll receive!!! If I can get it for the same price as the last time the final selling price should be around $8.50/cartridge shipped. All of the selling will be handled through RCU's Marketplace. If enough interest is generated it will be up to you to get the word out about the thread....Since I would be the seller if I mentioned the sale, for example in the jet forum, it would get nuked. Things are a lot different now with the new RCU.
So, let me know----How many are interested??? This is just for fact gathering only. As I said before, if there's enough interest I'll place an ad in the RCU Marketplace.
PS---Something you guys need to be aware of.....I can only get Hysol 9462 and 9460F in case lots only. (10 to a case) I don't mind splitting cases in half as there are usually several modelers that desire only a half of a case. It is the guys that want less than a half of a case that causes problems with shipping costs plus the fact that I can only buy in case quantities. Due to this, the smallest order will be for a half of a case. (5) Also, if a sale thread is generated I will keep it open for a limited duration of time and not place the order until all of the funds have arrived. This enables us to get the best price on this adhesive as we would be dealing in large quantities.
Let me know!!!! [8D] Kevin

What is the shelflife of the 9462 when it is kept in the freezer?

Bill
Bill,
The last batch that I purchased had a shelf life of at least three years if stored at room temperature and out of the light. I don't know how long it would last in the freezer---With a three year shelf life I would imagine you would use all of it before it expired...Wouldn't you???
OK guys---I believe that we will have enough interest. I will post an ad tomorrow in the RCU Marketplace in the "Jet Accessories" catagory after I make sure of the price, given the quantities that you all have requested. I'll let you all know tomorrow in this thread.
THANKS!!!! Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Is it too late to jump in on ordering some 9460F? I would like 1 case plus two nozzle packs. Or, if you like just pass me the phone number and I can call in the order.
Thanks!!
Jim W.
