For such a big jet, it's surprising that it's hard to find a place for smoke tanks.....partly because the cockpit tubs sit so low. Anyhow, I sqeezed three 12oz tanks in as shown in this pic. Not ideal but it worked.

Yeah, I know what you mean Craig. I was thinking of going to smaller tanks and more of them but I don't have the time. This thing needs to be done tomorrow for Cali Jets. I am thinking about putting them high in the wheel wells, tons of room there but I have to fab up a way to mount them.

Hello.

I modified 2 FeiBao F-15 fuel cells to smoke thanks, they perfectly matched to the place I put them.

The result is 1.4 Liters of smoke liquid.

Ian, Bill Hatcher makes custom smoke saddle tanks that disappear right into the fuse. Contact him or pm me for his email.

Cheers,
Shaz

Thanks SHaz, but I dont think he could get them to me today. I found room for them under the ducts in the wing/fuse blend area. Tons of room so it looks like we will be able to smoke at Cali-Jets!!!

Ian, I do make tanks for the Large Viper.
And you are correct I could not get them to you today.
However here are a couple of photos of where they go.
They fit under the intake on each side and hold 35oz each.
If anyone is interested PM me and we will go from there.
