Default habu 32p20......need brakes

Hello,
Thinking of building a bu 32 withjc p20 over winter and wondering if brakes are needed?

yes i beleive all turbine powered planes are required by the ama to come to a controlled stop from the transmitter ,fine line on the wording and inturpitation of the rules ,there has been discussions on this topic somewhere in these forums ,you could keep it lite and use a nose wheel type brake ,i think that qualifies as a braking system

Yes brakes are required. Tamm offers a complete set of retracts that are modified with brakes from the E-flite electric retracts.

I would recommend Hitec 5085's all the way around. Maybe a Hitec 85MG for steering.
