Default Seeking RAM ECU for RAM 1000

Does anyone have a RAM ECU, Version C02 or C03, they would mind unloading? I have a good running RAM 1000 and the ECU died and can't be repaired.

Get a Xicoy ECU, can be programmed for any turbine, and in case your RAM dies, you can use it for other engine or sell it...

I agree. I have a buddy with a few Ram engines, and only one good ECU.

Here's the entire conversion kit.

And here's how to do it.

FYI... I just ordered some parts from them last week. I paid for the order on Friday... and the parts were at my door on Monday. (Very fast shipping from Spain) DON'T use a credit card to buy from them. Some cards will tack on a 4% currency conversion fee. Use paypal. With the conversion price right now... you are looking at $255, and about $22 to ship.

Greg,
Try Bob Price, the ECU designer and engineer of all the Remote Start RAMand FTE turbines. Bob can repair and sell new ECU's for these turbines along with software upgrades.
I recently had Bob upgrade my FTE-500 ECU to the R03B version which solved all the starting, ramping and running problems experienced with this unit. I wasso pleased that Isent him my RAM 750+ ECU which he upgraded to improve the running and throttle response on this turbine also. The upgrades are simple plug and run and do not require any changes to the RPM sensor, data terminal or other components of the turbine. Both upgrades came with a comprehensive 38-page User's Manual which covered all aspects of the upgrade including diagnostic tests. Bob can be reached by phone or email and can supply you with an upgraded RAMECU for your RAM 1000,

Yep, I previously spoke with Bob and I know I can buy a new ECU, he can't fix the original ECU. However, given the choice of buying a brand new ECU for a RAM or purchasing a new Turbine, I will probably just upgrade to a new turbine. I was really hoping to find a used RAM ECU from someone that blew up their old RAM.

Lot cheaper than a new turbine!

Yeah, but the RAM is an 11 year old turbine and it has been a very good turbine. I hate throwing $$ at old equipment. In the end, ya still have old equipment. The new JetCat SX series has an instant throttle response time. Although, I am very accustom to the throttle lag on the RAM, the newer JetCats' are sweet. I think it is time to just bite the bullet.
