Problem - reversed trim in 14MZ on Eurosport
Hey Guys,
I have encountered a problem with my new eurosport, recently flown:
The trim on the elevator works the OPPOSITE direction from the stick.
Meaning when I trim down clicks, the elevator surfaces goes up, and when I trim up clicks - the surface goes down.
Of course the stick movements are in the right direction.
I looked for an option to reverse the trim only - and could not find it on the 14MZ.
The setup is for a "flying wing" type, as the Eurosport is a delta setup.
The trim on the aileron works just fine, same movements as the sticks.
Any idea what is wrong and how I reverse the trim on the elevator?
Thanks,
Ziv

Hi
I am not sure i follow.
Which channel to reverse?
the 14mz does not have a delta or elevon menu. Can you be more specific or are talking in general?
Thanks
Ziv

When you were setting the plane up did you reverse the hardware to get the elevator going the right way?
I think in the hardware section is where you can reverse the trim or stick directions.
I'll have to check later to be sure.

First off...Any time I set up a new model, I always do a control check that includes the trim function just for this reason.
To correct it, go into the System menu, Select H/W setting, then Select H/W Reverse. Find the trim you want to reverse, select it and press OK...Done.
Make sure you verify that it is triming both control surfaces.

I know that Futaba was looking to make the radio programmable, but I really can't think of any reason where someone would want the trim reversed to the stick movement. Only time I've ever heard of the need for that set up was someone said they used a slider for throttle control and the trim needed to be reversed to get it going the right way
