It was only a matter of time!

I for one.. Love it, and know I will be ordering a few of these single seat conversions.

I agree, much better! The pilots that usually found a home in the 2 seater always looked too small. Nice upgrade!
I ordered an eBandit last month, my first BVM ARF. Can't wait to get it! I have a very early generation T-33 that's waiting still in its original box....very curious to see what they unveil at FL Jets in regards to the T33....hope that the news finds it's way back to RCU for us that can't make it. Kids are still too young for the trip....in a couple years i figure i can hit FLJ and Disney with the family in the same trip....

If there were several layers of awesomeness, this would be top tier.

An $18.5K ARF never looked so good!

Birdy.
Stop Pi$$ing around and get it ordered! You know it makes sense. Give the man the money at FJ next week and be done with it!

I REALLY REALLY want one of these.... I never did like the 2 hole (trainer) version... Smaller cockpit looks much better.

One day it will happen..

Of course it makes no sense - AND it'll be hideously expensive! Look at my plane, it looks great - I don't need to change it. But I'll be at FJ, I'll wonder over to their tent and I know I'll immediately have shelled out the money for it and once again be in the poor house.

I'm depressingly predictable.......

Someone can photoshop that picture Birdie to see what it will look like. Not sure how awesome it will look. Be good to see if it improves the look.

I believe it's been asked for for years but appears just when the single cockpit rival Shockwave does [X(] [8D]

We will have two single seaters available for inspection at FJ next week. BV's and mine.
I should have mine ready to go tonight.

Come on Mark - you are the photo shop king! You taught me how to use it in the first place

Al - I wouldn't trust a word Howarth says, he's clearly stricken with BVM envy after we had our BARF v Ultra Flash day at the field

Birdie, no need. Looks like Harley can post pics of the real McCoy!! Looks quite good in those pics. Guess you'd need to see a 'complete' model.

Yup - looking forward to more pictures but it's looking great so far (which means expensive for me[:@]).

Also looks like it should save some weight over the original twin seat config.

From Wikipedia:

NFOs are sometimes referred to by the slang phrase "Guy/Gal in Back", or "GIB" for short. An alternate deprecating moniker is "Self-Loading Baggage."

Its not my expression, so don't shoot the messenger!

Bob

BTW, I think I like the look of the single seater better - maybe its the conditioning from looking at previous Bandit versions...

schroedm,
Well, The picture on the front page of the BVM website is of the real McCoy. The model was only "photoshopped" to insert the cloud background.

There are two examples, and you have seen both of them now.
Mine is now completed, as I just finished mounting a heads up display on my instrument panel, and it is buttoned up and on the model. I feel honored to be able to beta test the retrofit kit.

New Ultra Bandits will be available with your choice of canopy types, and retrofit kits will be available to convert your earlier two seater to the new single seat version.

The retrofit is not permanent. The canopies are alternate and interchangeable.
I would have included a photo of my finished version on my workbench, but I left my camera at the BVM shop tonight.
See you at Florida Jets in the BVM tent.
